it would require a BE (like commander's seal)
it would be simple
it would have a 1 CE factor

when u put it on a unit, it receives the effects of that unit's X var. The unit doesn't get the X var, not like activation or something. Just when u deploy with a unit having that mod, it would receive the effects of that unit's X var

its not
but for those desperate for an x var...
example on DWA it would give u'r main weapon +20 damage
on helbore, +1 range to all
on Witman that bonus thing
on sniper it gives +2 range but at 1 CE factor (kinda like 1 CE superior ammo for them aldus setups)

its effect takes 1 slot but can be alot better than any other mod's effect

It'd be better in the fact that you now have 4 (3+1 temp) vars.

You sacrifice a mod slot for a 4th var, granting a bit more unit flexibility. It wouldn't be a massively game-changing thing, but it'd allow a bit more room to experiment.

I would suggest rather than a BE adding a 3rd rare mod that drops at Tear rate though. This shouldn't cost more than an I mod on an advanced unit, as while useful, it's not *that* amazing.

Integrate this mod = winning.

Edit: I'd totally place this on Non-X var units.

Edit2: How would it effect already X var'd units? Double the effect?
