ok dueling planet: AI or vs player


First off for a player you would go in, and have to pay X stuff. it could be anything from ore, tiny bucks, a mech unit, doesnt matter. The planet will only allow up to so much army CE + base CE.

to keep it even. Anyway you fight it out and there could be resources or whatever there also. whoever wins gets all the salvage and a % of the wager.

ie:

500 ore entry fee per person
cmd units: 15 (smaller then normal planets to encourge competition)

2 player game min (X turns limit) those with high CE at the end is the winner or destroyed.

max players: 4

winner: all salvage (if you have a salvage unit left) and 400 ore per person.

you can even have 1st and 2nd place if you want.

player vs AI duel

this could is where part of the magic the gathering style comes in.
first off i love how you buy booster backs for units. but how about taking all of the advance stuff out, and you can only get packs for inter and simple. (or something like that. you get the idea)

you have a max CE entering and pay a FEE
you go against a AI base or something that is guarding a advance prototype item.

you dont know what it is, but if you can fight your way to it and win you get a random advance item.

thats all you get plus normal salvage as you go.

anyway the details of how and what you get doesnt matter. just focus on the concept.

what do you guys think?

Seconded. Anything that will spice up the planets a bit more, they are a tad desolate these days, sounds great.

about the duel planet, there should be a limited time to deploy units, cause it wouldnt be nice to have units deploying when you area almost dead...

maybe 10 min...
