I was thinking about adding a mod where it would reduce the piloting requirement by one level (due to easier controls), but destroys the units controlled speed, and halves its max speed (due to incompatibilities between the controls and the propulsion system). It may also reduce to hit if the ability to lower piloting is deemed to OP.
TL;DR:
Lowers Piloting requirement on a unit by one level
Sets controlled speed to 0
Halves max speed (min. 1)
[If deemed OP] reduces to hit by [A large enough amount to balance the mod] |

Reducing piloting by 1 level should be accompanied by a -1.5 to hit for non-mekas(Face it, they don't even need E/E crews) and a -2.5 for Mekas (Make it up with a Facenorth + Commands, and they are stronger then Non-Meks)
