Oh, so I'm supposed to type my thoughts in here? I sure hope it's confidential, I fear my bunkmates might just laugh at me.
So hello there, my, uh, Diary I suppose.
It's been a few days since I arrived at Resurrected Headquarters, and it has been pretty mundane. All day long we get training, training, and more training! It's gotten a bit annoying, because I signed up here for some real action. Some fighting, you know, the kind where all the lasers, and shells, and missiles fly all over and blowing up their tanks and the Mekas, and all that really really fun stuff.
But no! Instead I am here to scrub toilets, clean tables and march, work out, and study on how to pilot or shoot a gun on a meka. It's not what the advertisement advertised! Though I still have not given up my dream of piloting one of those massive mekas that they call the Gatlinger. It's a real beauty to behold, with its dual gatling cannons that can spew out ballistic shells and a lot of protection for its pilots.
Just thinking about it makes me drool.
Oh, oh, nearly forgot, I met my 'other half' today, or to be precise, my co-pilot. Was a pretty cool guy, but not much of a talker, and he has some background in piloting light Mekas and light-medium tanks. I feel like I'm in safe hands already!
I sure hope I get my first taste of real combat soon, though. All these chores are starting to get boring.
